Cost

The cost of Kiddo Camp is $150 per child. This includes the week of camp, meals, snacks, crafts, rock climbing, hiking, swimming, high ropes, frisbee golf, T-shirt and awards. Everything your child should need is included in the fee; extra money at camp is not needed and should not be brought.

Leadership

Kiddo Camp is part of the Children’s Ministry of Valley View Church. Eddie Lee Brooks serves as Camp Director and Mark Vincent serves as Camp Pastor. DeWayne Drake is responsible for recreation. The camp is staffed by committed, Christian adults and college and high school students. Background checks are required for each camp staff member.

Purpose

The purpose of Kiddo Camp is to deepen children’s understanding and awareness of God, others and themselves and the world of nature through Bible study, worship, crafts, recreation and fun.

We ask that you allow your child to fully participate in Kiddo Camp and being “away from home.” Please do not visit your child during the week. We expect all campers to remain at camp for the entire week unless an emergency arises. Phone call will be made only in emergency situations.

Transportation

You are responsible for your child’s transportation both to and from camp. If you need to car pool, you may call 935-5142 to secure the names and numbers of other campers.

• Campers will need to arrive at Camp Piomingo on Monday at 10:00 AM. Early arrivals by special permission only!
• Parents are invited to a Camp Closing Program at 5:00 PM on Friday. Children must be picked up no later than 6:00 PM on Friday. Supper will not be served at camp on Friday.

Camp Closing Program

Our Camp Closing Program will be Friday at 5:00 PM. We will share highlights of our week and present awards to the campers. Following the program, parents and campers will gather all items and head for home.
